Overview
About Me
I'm a graduate student in a life-draining dual-degree programme. My partner and I share a home with a small child, her two parents, and her cat. Not really any space to host, but if you're looking in Chester because you're looking at Widener, drop me a line.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Everything shouldn't have a price.
Interests
International travel, photography, craft beer, comic books, and all the other things that make this sound like a dating profile.
I like gardening, hiking, sitting around a fire (that sounds so much more friendly than "burning things").
I dig people who live their lives despite convention dictating otherwise. Moving to Africa? Great. Non-monogamous? Fabulous. Chase the real you. Also cool with those for whom the flow is most comfortable (to a point).
I watch more children's cartoons than I probably should. I've got a borderline unhealthy relationship with Adventure Time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
No, here's a billion and I'm hyper to have had all of them: Great Wall. Diving with Great White sharks. Safari in South Africa. Snorkeling with barracuda. Ngorongoro Crater. Olduvai Gorge. Top of the Eiffel. Top of a glacier in Austria. Communion with Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Skydiving. Teaching Sex Ed in Tanzania.
Teach, Learn, Share
1. The cure for depression is volunteer work. Honest.
2. The lens through which you experience the world is inescapable. Everything you do, say, hear, feel, or touch happens through this lens, and though you can change it, you will never be free of it.
3. High Fructose Corn Syrup will kill you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Love to talk with prospective dual-degree students at Widener. If you're already an enrolled HSED student and need a place to crash some weekends, drop me a line and I'll see what we can do.
