ABOUT ME

Maarten is 27 and works full time and Lizzy is 22 and studies Pedagogy.

We're both very friendly, outgoing, open minded and positive people.
We like hanging out with nice, interesting people, talking about everything that comes to mind or watch a movie, but we can sure enjoy ourselves at a party or even better, a festival.
In the weekends we like to go out with friends, see bands perform or just chilling at the best places in Amsterdam.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If we have enough time, people can always stay with us. It's a great experience to meet people from all over the world. Talking about experiences, ideas, philosophies, language (like always). Show people around in Amsterdam, from an inside view beside all the tourists stuff.. (although the most people do like the touristic canal cruises :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have only had this profile for one week, but we already hosted twice, four people in total.
We are also planning to make use of it as guests in the summer vacation but we're not sure yet where to go, we'd love to go everywhere and it's so hard to choose!

Interests

We both like: Music, movies, literature, good food, nice weather, beach, forest, city live, learning new things, art, politics.
Maarten is interested in rock climbing and martial arts and also plays the guitar.
Lizzy likes music and movies, and is interested in reading on things like philosophy, psychology, physics and politics. She also studied a few years of graphic design.
