I am the youngest of 13 children so I spent alot of my time observing my siblings and making other choices than they did...not that the choices were bad:) just different. Did the whole marriage thing and now I am set to do a little travel.
Burning Man is an event I participate in and my passion is costuming and hanging out with clowns here in SF.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have participate in CS in various ways. I like to contact visitors to SF to let them know if there are some underground events going on in SF. As my couch is limited, I have found this a nice way to connect. I have had others do this for me while I was traveling and I felt less alone or as the case may be, on to a new adventure!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met people for coffee or a drink here in SF( made some lifelong friends) and have combined CS with hotel stays and hostels while I have traveled through Europe.

Interests

I love costumes, gardening, bodywork and living in the city. San Francisco has so much to offer that I cannot even list all of the things that keep my interest here.

Music, Movies, and Books

I drive a lot for my work and I listen to Audio Books. Some a re great and others are crap!! A few of my favorites are "Last Night in Twisted River" and "The Secret Life of Bees". Great books with great readers!

I do not have cable here so TV is out!!! The city has tooooo much going on to sit in front of the "boob tube". Podcasts I like are "Stuff you Should Know" with Chuck and Josh, and Nova online.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bungee jumped off a bridge at night..actually six people held me up and let me go, feet first over the edge.

Having been a massage therapist for 20 yrs I think my knowledge of people and how they move could be helpful.

What is a U Visa
General Information: The purpose of the U visa is give victims of certain crimes temporary legal status and work eligibility in the United States for up to 4 years. The U visa is a nonimmigrant visa and only 10,000 U visas may be issued every fiscal year. Family members may also be included on the petition including spouses, children, unmarried sisters and brothers under 18, mothers, fathers, as well as stepparents and adoptive parents. An approved U visa petition will automatically grant the applicant work eligibility in the United States. An Employment Authorization Document will be included with all approved petitions, which can be shown to any employer to obtain a Social Security Number to start work legally. Currently all U visa applications are filed at the Vermont Service Center.
