ABOUT ME

Just someone who got recently bit by the travel bug. Growing tired of the people who have done this and done that, while i have never really left my own state. so i am started to become welcoming to travel, and the adventures it brings.
Besides that I am 100% Native American (Navajo) to be exact. I was raised in Northern Arizona on the reservation and was able to survive life with no electricity or running water. No I didn't sleep in a TeePee, but pretty close - we call it a hogan, adobe made house which is pretty much one big room. Every morning I had to rise with the sun and herd sheep.. (seriously). Having said that I don't take life for granted and I am blessed to have what I have in my life. I treasure friendships more than anything else. I mean buildings come up and buildings come down but true friends are forever. I am fairly traditonal, but I must admit I am falling out of my culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Twenty years from now I don't wanna be disappointed by the things that I didn't do than by the ones I did do

I also wanna be the change that I wanna see in the world...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I haven't been active - but I do plan to change that...
As of right now I can only grace people with my presence while traveling. I may be good for some information about Arizona as I have traveled from one end to the other as well lived in this state for all of my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet CS'ed yet, hoping to pop that cherry soon... so we shall see what happens.
Other than that, I have been blessed with meeting great people and people who have fueled my fire to travel by hearing their great stories. I just get so jealous some times.

Interests

Besides traveling of course I am all about sports. Basketball has been in my blood and probably would be at the end of the bench if it weren't for a torn ACL (wishful thinking, but hey, I can dream...)
Watching movies in theaters use to be HUGE, but lately I have been trying to get some more hiking done. I would like to make it to a few natural parks and not be out of breathe just by getting out of the vehicle. Also trying to get rid of my spare tire, so trying to work out a more.

I am comedy guy - love to laugh! My all time favorite has to be Dumb and Dumber!! So many other movies that make me laugh I just can't name them all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

so far its leave the country - i was blessed with the opportunity to represent Arizona basketball in a tournament in the Down Under country.. (we came in 2nd-sorry Az). but thats were i got the bigger picture that there was much to see in this world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am from N. Az. I was born in Tuba City and lived in Page for most of my life. I spent my time traveling and hiking through most of N. Az. I do have some local knowledge and suggest great hidden gems to see along the way as well as the best route to see the most out of your trip. Every place you go, there are bad places - i can help you navigate through it.
