ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going & down-to-earth person ... fun, outgoing, adventurous ... lives in Cairo for 15 years. I have graduated from Business school in 2001 & CFA Charterholder since 2014. I have been working in the finance career for more than 12 years ... Banks, Stock Market, Investment Banking, and Private Equity.

I have decided in 2015 to quit this career and shift to travel writing/blogging photography/filmmaking .... after being infected by the "Travel bug" ... I can't stop traveling & exploring ..... this happened gradually over the past 8 years from traveling & hosting AWESOME travelers through Couchsurfing.

In 2014, I issued travel book series named "Couch Traveler". The first book was in Iran and second in Afghanistan. It is not a travel guide book, it is a travel diary with the taste of a novel. I am demonstrating to the reader how traveling using Couchsurfing allows us to explore the people & culture of the country being visited in an amazing and much deeper way. I am picking up countries with a mislead perception across the globe & media, to prove my theory.

I am developing my own bilingual (Arabic/English) travel blog website, to include all my travel photo albums, articles, stories, videos, tips, news. It will be the first Arabic travel website of an Arabic speaking full-time multimedia traveler.

I used to hang around with travelers in Cairo, to show around, offer help, etc, but lately I have a place to host any Cairo visitor ;) ..... i am HOSTHOLIC now LOL

Currently I have moved my living to Dahab, Sinai, and can host here. I can't host in Cairo at the moment.
