My couch is generally open. I also couch-surfed across the US all Summer 2008.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Atleast three nights a week someone is occupying my sofa. On the other nights, I am often resting my head on a friend's couch. I have had friends of friends sleep not only on my couch but also on the floor. No one seems to mind where their pillow and head fall. Additionally, amazing friends have hosted me when I've gotten stuck in random cities due to inclement weather. I really appreciate all the people that have with me or allowed me to visit with them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a busride out of Istanbul, I watched a Romanian gypsy dance to "native" music up and down the aisle in the middle of the night.

Drove and explored the Badlands (in South Dakota, US) at dusk.
