About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living and experiencing life everyday. Working to make a difference, explore and enjoy life.

ABOUT ME

I love to travel, love to learn. Enjoy meeting people and exploring new adventures at every turn. I wake up each day with a positive attitude and try to always remember the positive in situations that may be difficult. I teach art and I am a private pilot. I do a lot of volunteering and find it is a great way to help others, learn, grow and share.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem! Sharing is good. Play fair and the game is always better no matter the outcome. Smile as much as possible. Pitch in, help out and have fun. If you are not part of the solution...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and my most recent favorite is a Korean film entitled "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my peace corps service I had the opportunity to live a very different life without electricity or running water or any modern convenience. It was great. Of course many people think that lifestyle is the biggest challenge of Peace Corps or life in Africa but it is not. The biggest challenge can be simply realizing and understanding the how truly unimportant those things are and, of course, leaving a new family behind when your service is up and you go home. Home can be many places and you can find family, love, caring and beautiful people everywhere you go. Everything in nature has the potential to beautiful as does every individual.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Very early, I knew that the only object in life was to grow." -- Margaret Fuller.
I have interest and some expertise in: art, teaching, photography, flying(I have a pilot's license) and living intentional communities.
