Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To start a new residential solar company that focuses on improving the quality of life of its employees and everyone else on the planet.
ABOUT ME
I'm a dreamer with endless optimism.
I enjoy talking to anyone and everyone about anything and everything. I just love meeting new people in general and like to discover similarities and learn from differences. Sharing life stories is just a good time.
I immensely enjoy helping people. I'm pretty self-less, and find just as much joy in making someone else smile as I do in smiling myself. I'd be willing to help you out in any way possible if you'll let me stay with you :)
I really enjoy experiencing new locations, activities, cultures, food. In general, I really like having my eyes widened to greater, more diverse realities than I have experienced thus far.
I hope I'm lucky enough to get to know you!
PHILOSOPHY
I live in the pursuit of Truth. I strive to obtain knowledge and to have experiences that will help me improve the planet. By "improve" I mean make it a more closely-knit, caring, healthy, sustainable community. To me, we're all in the same family. Everything we do (even the small stuff) has a direct impact on everyone else on this big blue sphere.
Some of my top concerns are sustainable energy generation, conservation, workers' rights, animal rights, environmentalism, and finding a way to have a completely sustainable world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I will be travelling a lot in the next several months, so I will be mostly relying on the generosity of others during that time. After that, I plan on settling down in Chiang Mai, Thailand for awhile with my new fiance while she finishes her University education. During that time, I would love to host guests and show them around Chiang Mai :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, except for some old friends from school. I hope this status changes soon!

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to anything EDM. I grew up playing classical piano, however, so I still listen to concertos and symphonies once in awhile.
I knew I had to go to Thailand after reading Bangkok Days by Lawrence Osborne. Glad I did :)
Cult classic movies. Nearly all of them. Fight club, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was voted to be the Junior Jester for my high school homecoming. Instead of coming out into the auditorium with all the other "royalty", I ran into the gym wearing nothing but a speedo and a smile. I wasn't showing anything naughty, but the stunt still got me suspended for 2 days. High school principals can be cruel ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have 15 years of piano experience. I have worked as a cook, a house painter, a yard maintenance worker, a handyman, a dish washer, an aerospace engineer, an electric utility engineer, a PV solar engineer and a manager.
I know a few things about a few things, which I am always willing to share. However, I enjoy learning from others more than I do teaching others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm pretty fit and able, and have a strong work ethic. Pretty intelligent as well. I could lend a hand with any light labor or repairs you may need around your place.
