...by hosting and surfing....?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While travelling through the Western Balkans in summer 2008, we were invited by couchsurfers in Ljubliana (Slovenia), Korca (Albania), and Struga (Macedonia). We sometimes arrived on very short notice, and yet these people made it possible that our trip was so much more of an amazing experience!
In the meantime, I also hosted many guests, and I'm still trying to figure out whether it's more fun to be a host or a guest - actually, I think it's great either way...!

We traveled in 2006 for 8 months from Mexico to Brazil, from the Caribean Sea to the Andean Peaks, from the lush jungle to the arid desert.
