Ever since I can remember I have always wanted to travel and always wanted to see the world. My mother spent time in Israel on the Kibbutz and my parents travelled through North and Central America before they settled back in the UK. I have always been captivated by their tales of adventure. I have also always wanted to learn about other countries and their cultures and love to meet and learn about new people.

I am looking at this website and thinking, this is surely far too good to be true! People offering their cultural knowledge, their friendship, their couch, purely because they can? It is so refreshing to see!

I think if you asked my friends to describe me they'd probably say I'm a little crazy, a little ditzy and perhaps a little weird (but in a good way apparently!) but I also like to think they'd say I am nice, and kind hearted. At Uni I was also well know for 2 things: Odd socks (I never knew something so insignificant would turn out to be so important!) and falling asleep in other peoples rooms, while they were studying!

I love learning, and that means I'm interested in alot of things, even things I know nothing about. But in aid of the list,I present to you...

Music - cannot imagine life without it.
Films - good ones obviously.
Manga/Anime - I try drawing it sometimes.
Guitar - I try playing it sometimes, it is a lovely reddy pink colour.
Walking - I love fresh air and just walking.
Views - there is nothing better than a neverending view, I love looking out and wondering what is out there, I love the feeling that I am just this tiny insignificant little thing in a huge huge existence. It puts everything into perspective.
Games - nothing like a good game, as long as it's not competetive, that's just scary
Books- good ones.
