About Me
CURRENT MISSION
An Urban Wood Nymph searching for self amidst plastic forests, jungles of concrete, and the world beyond.
ABOUT ME
I love Plants, food, and travel. I work educating and implementing the expansion of green spaces in the urban environment.
I love meeting new people, and experiencing new things whether they be food, adventures, hair-do, ect. I am in the process of learning many languages while traveling Europe, and know a little Japanese from my exchange in high school, so any practice is well received!
I love being around the positive, fun, and creative. Silliness is definitely appreciated (laughing is good for the soul)!
Right now I am traveling the world collecting research in the realm of Agriculture in hopes of creating a garden project when I return home....if I ever make it!
PHILOSOPHY
BALANCE.
Also a motto: Plants don't talk back, and yet they give you so much love!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately for the past 5 years I was permanently couchsurfing with family friends, so I technically did not have a couch to give. However, I would love to show folks around the Los Angeles or San Francisco areas if given the opportunity, or give recommendations when I am not around (which may be for quite a while at the rate I am traveling). I love making guides, so ask away!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Heard about couch surfing when staying with a local I met at a waterfall party in Costa Rica. I had unofficially couch surfed all over that country, welcomed by amazing people and their families. In looking back feel that those encounters, and relationships that developed as a result, were the best part of the trip. Being able to connect with perfect strangers, even with a language barrier, truly makes you feel good to be human. In this day in age it it so important to remember that life is short and people are generally good. I believe couchsurfing as a humanitarian effort supports living life to it's fullest potential.

Music, Movies, and Books
Classics, cult, and films by WesAnderson, Almodovar, and John Waters can set the parameters of my cinematic taste.
I LOVE all music, especially 60's and 70's Soul/Funk
(NOTE: the music exchanges I have encountered while traveling have blown me away, and I welcome many more opportunities to diversify my library!)
Geek Love, The Architecture of Happiness, The brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, and Tropical Nature
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Experienced a beautiful death, so aspire to live a beautiful life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always learning, but love to teach. Educated mostly in things plant related, but ask away and if I don't know an answer we can find out together.
I can also teach you how to make a coin purse from a tetrapak.
