ABOUT ME

We have been married since 2007 and have two beautiful baby boys that rock our world! At only 15 months apart, they certainly keep us busy! We have traveled all over the US and several other countries together, and our list grows longer every year! Our first-born son got his first passport when he was only 2 months old :) We have met many wonderful friends through CS and have enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with some of our CS buddies from abroad. Our last overseas adventure was a 4-week trip that included 8 different countries...it was a whirlwind!

PHILOSOPHY

There is so much out there to discover and admire, we are constantly amazed at the beauty that surrounds us. We just want to give back a little, and meet other people who want to do the same. We do our best to respect everyone and live life to the fullest!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As much as we can...it's been hard lately since the babes came along, but we're hoping to re-open our doors VERY shortly :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We discovered Couch Surfing when we started planning our trip to Italy in February of 2008. We fell in love with it and began using it right away! Our first visit was with a very cool guy in Steamboat Springs when we were visiting for a friends' wedding in June '08. We've since had a slew of CS'ers at our place, and have had positive experiences hosting them all. We enjoy meeting new people and welcome fellow travelers.

兴趣

We really enjoy most things active and/or outdoors. We love to experience new places and explore the world! When we're at home we find plenty of time to ride our cruiser bikes around, (especially to local ice cream shops)! We conquered our first century ride on our road bikes in September '09, and have since logged MANY miles on those wheels. We have climbed several 14'ers in CO, and we do tons of camping in the summer. We both used to love snowboarding, but we don't hit the slopes much these days. Chad is a surfer at heart and would do it every day if he still lived in CA.

Um...Chad likes the movies, I like the books, and we both force each other to try to enjoy both!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Um, having babies - nothing compares!! But some other cool things...Snorkeling with GIANT sea turtles in Maui...they were bigger than me! The waterfall at Lauterbrunen - it was like the Casa Bonita waterfall, but huge, and in real life! Completing a road bike century ride, (never thought I could), so a major accomplishment for me!

Happy to share with anyone...I have experience in photography, interior design, architectural drafting, business management, bookkeeping, real estate, and being a MAMA! Chad is a GC with experience in custom residential home building, commercial building, and also has his degree in business management. He can build or fix just about anything, and loves tooling around on his '79 IH Scout. He makes organic homemade lotion, is an amazing cook, and loves to surf (with anyone who will join him)!
