ABOUT ME

I'm a nice representative of a globalized world. I was born in Iran, but raised in Canada, and have been living and studying in Europe (Helsinki and Milan specifically) for the past few years. So it's hard to pin me down and I'm quite varied in taste and experiences. And that's how I like it. Diversity is something that comes naturally from that background, and I'm very good at understanding things in nuanced and multisided perspectives. My formal education has been in creative disciplines of Design and Animation, and currently more in how they relate to business; with specific attention to international and multidisciplinary team management. PHILOSOPHY

I aim to treat people as I would want to be treated. Help as much as possible without over exerting. I aim to live as a flow of consciousness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had two formalized couch surfing experience so far, once in Valencia Spain, and once in Como. Both have been great, and I think the whole nature of this platform is a beautiful thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm an avid fan of a broad range of films, but my favorite movie may be Dr.Strangelove. I also really love the works of Charlie Chaplin and Alfred Hitchcock.

I'm a huge music fan, covering broad spectrums from contemporary Art Music, to popular idioms, rock, indie, electronic, various opera traditions, and non-western music.

The books of Kurt Vonnegut are some of my best friends...

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught design and innovation to high school students in canada, and would be happy to pass on info on these subjects. I'm also proficient with visual arts and can help improve drawing skills.
