ABOUT ME

I became Natster the Ultimate Tourist in Australia. For three months I was going to school at Melbourne Uni and my classmates noticed that I was always prepared... I always carried two cameras... When ever I travel the Natster in me comes out.

My favorite color is orange. I still love orange but everything I get/own is orange and I'm getting rather sick of it. I am considering changing my favorite color just to stop receiving orange stuff.. but I'm afraid of how my friends and family will handle the news.

I LOVED my year in Enschede, The Netherlands for many reasons, including the fact that I could love orange without being weird :)

PHILOSOPHY

College is an experience! The proper college experience can not come from living in the same place for 4 years nor does it come from a classroom or a text book. But writing text books are fun!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I provided (in school) all the detailed Seattle Visitor info and discounts to our house surfers... I work at the University of Washington, Seattle Washington Visitors Information Center.

Now I live near Portland, but find myself in Seattle at least once a month. I need to attend more Portland CS meetups.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My university house mates hosted several Couch surfers. I had heaps of studies that kept me from hosting my own, but I had a great time hanging out with my house surfers!

I also couch surfed my first 21 days living in The Netherlands. I met my BEST friends through CS!

兴趣

I enjoy camping in the gorge, Carson Hot Springs, knitting using plastic grocery bags to make wine bottle cosies, learning to cook more unique dishes, and of course Traveling!!!

I am a great tour guide in the gorge and Mt. St. Helens--If you have not been to the Ape caves, you have not been to Mt. St. Helens!

Honestly, I'm trying to learn about Portland. I grew up near it, but need to spend a lot of time discovering the town. I have started this by seeking out vegetarian restaurants. (I will eat meat, but not so often anymore.) Please let me know what part of town I should discover next!
