About Me

I'm a 28 year old male. Master Level Conversationalist. Kind, polite, respectful. Left leaning in my politics. Spiritual, but not religious. I've been working in child care for about 3 years. I'm also a Master Level Baby-Wrangler. I read a lot. I write a little. I play the guitar, I sing songs. I've spent a lot of time dreaming about travel, but traveled very little, so I'm excited to start.

Interests

Oh, man, I guess I covered a lot of this under About Me. I love riding bikes. I love learning languages. I love reading books. I'm interested in philosophy and psychology. I'm interested in people, what drives them and moves them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, Movies and Books are a lot like food. Let me try it, and I'll tell you if I like it.

I like all sorts of music. There's good and bad stuff in every genre, you just have to dig a little to find the good stuff.

Some fiction authors I like: Milan Kundera, Haruki Murakami, William Gibson, Frank Herbert, Gene Wolf, Chuck Palahniuk.

I cannot remember any movies I've seen at this moment. But I like movies. They are great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I went on a walkabout with a friend of mine. We walked from Salt Lake City to Boise. We didn't take rides, just walked. It was over400 miles. Boy, what a time. Another time I rode my bike solo from SLC to Boise, and then to Yakima, and then to Portland. It was a whole bunch. I can't remember how many miles it was. A lot though.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you a thing or two about playing the guitar, and music theory. Not a lot, but some. I could also play with you, if you already play music and sing. I know a a thing or two about babies and children.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer babysitting. I can change diapers. Language practice. Good conversation, an attentive listener. I could sing you some songs, or tell some stories or something. Manual labor? I'm not afraid of a little hard work.
