About Me

Learning new things every day. Sometimes I seek them out; sometimes they find me.

I work with nonprofits and in learning & development. Currently helping transform the way people work by changing the way they think, feel, and behave, at a growing startup in NYC.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed on three continents and hosted dozens of visitors, mostly while living in Zambia for two years. I love meeting new people and sharing insights on local food and sights.

I've become life-long friends with people via couchsurfing, and I'm so grateful. I love to give back to the community. I signed a lease prohibiting airbnb and hosting strangers -- but if I've met you in person (including through CS), I may be able to host you on your next trip to New York!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attended a king's funeral in Ghana.
Saw the largest overland mammal migration in the world: fruit bats in Southern Africa.
Sunrise over the Namibian dunes, from a hot air balloon.
Couchsurfing breakfast in Budapest, sharing stories about how our respective countries' histories shaped migration and ultimately our family values and work ethic.
Eloped, at NYC city hall: the same place my grandparents eloped 66 years earlier.
