About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience

ABOUT ME

I want to see the whole world! However, as a student i'm pretty limited these days and i enjoy life in Copenhagen as well. Outside of work i do a fair bit of political activism and i love to discuss the state of the union (and the rest of the world). I really like taking and seeing photographs and am in love with my camera. I care about the world but get overwhelmed by the complexity of its problems and don't always know my place in it. I used to want to be a development worker but i don't think thats the way for me to go anymore.

PHILOSOPHY

Hmm thats a tough one. At 26 i wouldn't say I've quite coined my personal philosophy yet, but i try to be curious, do things that make me happy, and be critical towards the way the world de facto works.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've only been hosted, but I would love to host people in Copenhagen or just meet up when you are here travelling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had two experiences, being hosted in Bulgaria and in Tokyo, and both times I was amazed at how these people opened their homes completely to strangers.

Interests

Travelling, photography, cooking, reading, politics. Oh and i like nature too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, my favorite novel (i think) is Extremely loud and incrediby close. My favorite play is Antigone (the Jean Anouil version) and my favorite movie is probably Cidade de Deus because it feels like coming home to an old friend.
My favourite musician is PJ Harvey. I definetely recommend the Danish band Under Byen if you want something unique and poetic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one evening in a small village in India, trying to learn to cook chapatis in the dark smokey kitchen of a small house. They didn't speak English, I didn't speak Hindi, and we had a lot of fun. I was quite terrible at the chapatis though.
