ABOUT ME

Flight attendant. Cook. Retired rugby player. Yogateer. Barista. Dog trainer. A Jane of many trades who likes to take plenty of time off between jobs to travel the world. I work hard wherever I go which has enabled me to see so many beautiful places and meet so many wonderful people. I lived in New Zealand for two years where I managed a small and beautiful eco friendly backpackers. In Canada I worked as a cook at a local deli. I also love to cook for myself and other people. The more the merrier. Back in Berlin, I am currently working as an instructor for dog trainers. I train dogs and people who want to do the same :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a small hand full of people in my early couchsurfing years. Each and every single one of them has been very friendly, polite and respectful and overall I thought this was a wonderful experience. Right now I am travelling around the world and I find that there is hardly anything as rewarding and fulfilling as getting to know a place through its people and its cuisine.

Apart from the obvious - which is travelling - I do enjoy Yoga very much. I am a huge Rugby fan but due to a spinal condition I had to quit playing. This has been very hard for me but Yoga has helped fill that gap. I love, love, love Futurama (I have a tattoo to prove it), Doctor Who and Douglas Adams. I am pretty sure that having read "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" will help me save the earth someday. I'm a dynamite cook and I like to use my hands be it for drawing, painting or crafting.

Music: Pretty much anything from before my time. The Doors , Deep Purple, The Who and The Beatles are who I grew up on. I adore Kate Bush. The Shining and Clue are my absolute favourite movies and as for books: anything Douglas Adams has ever written.
