From Africa to the Arctic...

I'm a video journalist working for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Canada's Arctic.

You can find me in Iqaluit, Nunavut after spending eight months doing the same in Accra, Ghana where I worked at Radio Gold (Your Power Station!).

In 2008 I studied for a semester in Aarhus Denmark where I was introduced to Couch Surfing and have surfed in three continents. I'm looking to make it four.

I've used couch surfing while travelling Europe, in the States and in Ghana

I'll always remember my first couch surfing experience when I met a surfer in a small train station in the middle of France. Benjamin showed me all over Normandy. Two years later I was able to host him in Toronto.

Interessen

My first love is learning, my second is listening and my third is the drink! Put them all together with the right crowd - priceless! I'm always up for a conversation and down for a beer or two...or three.

I grew up to my dad's 50s/60s classics.

I've had the pleasure of seeing some great acts including U2, Van Halen, the Eagles, Tribe Called Quest, Dixie Chicks, Nas and a couple personal favourite, Wu Tang Clan.

I'm a big news junkie and most of my reading these days is dedicated to online news sites.

I traveled to Norway with my Finnish pal Niklas. We made a documentary for a school project and compared a young, urbanite who takes a plane to work and a 83-year-old hermit who lives by himself on top of a fiord in the middle of nowhere.
