About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn and find inspiration with others.

ABOUT ME

I'm a recent college graduate who spent the last four years inhaling the wonderful Gulf air of New Orleans.I am currently on a trip through South America before I return to graduate school next year to become a man with a title. I proudly hail from the country of Luxembourg, a beautiful little place that's probably smaller than your country's capital (and maybe even its suburbs). I enjoy learning about people, places, and things, and I'm always up for a new adventure. I also like to play the guitar.

PHILOSOPHY

On s'engage, et puis-- on voit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My current circumstances (read: lack of abode) inhibit me from hosting you. However, once I have a place lined with bookshelves and relics in a city you'd love to visit, I promise I'll host ya!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing but fluffy goodness.

Interests

Guitar, soccer, snowboarding, reading, conversations, staying immersed in world affairs, traveling and experiencing new cultures. I'm also learning how to cook, but so far only with limited success...

Music, Movies, and Books

Some faves...Books: I'm a big fan of DFW and Vonnegut, but I like to read lots of stuff, from Dostoevsky to Garcia Lorca to Bellow. Music: Lots of jazz lately. I also dig the classics and almost everything else.Movies: I always forget what my favorite movies are, but, as a general rule, I tend to enjoy anything made by Pixar or the Coen Brothers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the Taj Mahal and impressive Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza and Copan, but I most treasure the small insights and glimpses of beauty that I find in often unexpected places.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, France, Greece, Honduras, India, Netherlands, Peru, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
