About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live music, running, brewing, making friends!
ABOUT ME
I'm Erik. I love to travel and meet new people whenever I can afford it. Other than that, I like go out, meet new people, run and play frisbee. I love beers from all around the world, and I love trying new food. Some of my favorites are Indian, Ethiopian, Italian, and anything else delicious.
I love adventure! I'm always looking to find things to get out of the house, whether it's hiking or checking out a museum. I love running, (distance, triathalons, relays, marathons) getting outside, going to the lake, playing frisbee, riding bike. When it's freezing outside I enjoy bumming around the house and watching a movie.
I always like finding something to do, whether it's trying something crazy and new or just cooking a meal and relaxing at home.
PHILOSOPHY
Did you plan ahead? Me neither.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: I love almost all types of music, I'm big into metal, folk, classical, musicals, old country and lots others. I can enjoy just about anything live. Iron Maiden, Tool, Blink 192, Johnny Cash, John Denver, Green Day, Cake, Beck, Jim's Big Ego, 80's pop
Books: The last book I read was "Pirate Latitudes" by Michael Crichton. Before that, the Harry Potter series and some random other books. I also have a small collection of "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" books from the 1800's-early 1900's. Adventure is my favorite genre.
Movies: Wet Hot American Summer, Monty Python, Mel Brooks, Mystery Science Theater 3000, mst3k... I don't watch much TV, but when I do it's shows like Adult Swim, The Colbert Report, Mythbusters, History Channel/Discovery Channel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Colorado Relay: 10 person teams running 170 miles through the mountains, around 10,000 feet elevation. Little to no sleep for 24 hours and running 20 miles. Awesome!
