About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Discovering a world of fluid art and wild oscillations!
ABOUT ME
I am a social creature. I love to talk. My mind tends to wander. Always curious.
I'm a musician. I've studied all sorts of interesting (but unprofitable) subjects. I've been in the restaurant industry. I've got a solid wine education and I work with all things liquid at a small liquor store at the moment. My know-how in beer, wine and spirits is perfect whenever I decide to want to go abroad, since no matter where you go, people always enjoy a good drink. I know for sure I do, haha!
PHILOSOPHY
Work will set you free.
Well, I like to work. No matter what work I do, I'm ambitious and do my very best. And most often, that makes me happy and at peace.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I simply host as much as I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The first time was in New York, where I met a guy who lived in Queens. We stayed up all night showing photos to each other, listening to and talking about music, found out we had mutual friends, oddly enough! Then I crashed at his brothers bed, getting woken up by the brother wanting to sleep. So I had to sleep on the couch, in that apartment in Queens, far, far away from home. It felt pretty strange, but in a really good way.
Interests
I'm a big nerd for everything drinkable, be it wines, akvavits, tea, amaros, stouts or bourbon. I've just taken up studying wine so I'll become even more nerdy when it comes to the beauty of fermented grapes, haha.
Another big love affair I have, is with music, be it slightly obscure Swedish jazz, french composers or downright weird rock. Throw at me whatever you like, the crazier the better!
I love to improvise music on piano or drums, forgot how to sightread, but my ears are pretty helpful.
I always treasure the way art takes me places, makes me feel. Maybe my couch guests will get me going to more of Stockholms great museums and art galleries?

Music, Movies, and Books
That's the kind of thing I want to talk about when I meet couchsurfers. I don't want to create any expactations or preconceived notions about my tastes. And yes, I've got great taste!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw Hideo Kojima (creator of the Metal Gear-series) since he visited the bar that I used to work at. He's so very polite.
I also carry around 1-2 ton a day at work and pretty much never gain weight, which is quite weird..
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to share all of my knowledge of beverages, food and cocktails. Also, there's so much music worth hearing that I'd be so happy to share with you! Apart from that, I do take a great pride in my city and its surroundings.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my love and passion for food and beverages, treat to some of my spirits and homemade sodas and such. If you bring your own booze there's even more fun to be had. I remember some great polish vodkas that one couch surfer brought, can vividly remember the taste, to this very day, haha.
And two french guys from Paris getting me to prefer Ricard instead of Pernod (there was no doubt in their minds which was the better!).
I'd also like to cook more with my guests and try different cuisines, so I guess the kitchen is where the party is at?!
My home is a reflection of my interests and I'd gladly share both.
