About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Feel, see, smell, taste, hear and save the world. I'm an avid adventurist - nothing too extreme, but always discovering the amazingness of this world and the people in it.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in the hills of California, I thrive on nature. I enjoy the excitement and culture of cities - nightlife, art and history museums, people watching... but I'm most amazed by the natural world. I've been a vegetarian my whole life, moved about 10 times with my mother (just the two of us growing up), love colorful things and spicy foods.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to experience everything I can - it makes me more aware and accepting. I can't rely on the notion that I will get another chance - but I hope that I would first become a bird so that I can fly, then a tree to feel grounded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to share my stories with you, while learning from yours. I will be living in dorms for the next few years, but am open to meet in Boston to show you around as long as I'm in the area ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have thus far only met couch surfers who have had predominantly successful, amazing adventures.

Interests

I'm a lover of the world and am testing ways in which to preserve it's people, plants, animals, and wild terrain. I grew up mostly without TV, so I danced instead - any type, whether its ballet, a music festival, or a packed nightclub. I'm into hiking, reading, sewing, knitting, baking cakes, cooking, driving, swimming, running, soccer, people, food, and sinking my toes into the mud.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I watched about 200 turtles "bubble" up from the sand and scuttle over to the ocean. I watch the skies change, and the clouds transform. Hiking through the alps and waking up to the sounds of sheep bells echoing across the mountings - river rafting through Oregon, US - observing little lake and soil creatures through microscopes - backpacking through Guatemala (the colors, lakes, people!) - taking the train around the US - art museums of Western Europe - Burning Man! Sky diving, glacier climbing, hiking in NZ, living in the rain forest and naked scuba diving in OZ.
