About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Do everything.

ABOUT ME

I am a cheerful, endlessly curious guy who's up for pretty much anything. I tend to be reserved when I first meet people and try things out, but that doesn't mean I'm not enjoying myself! I like to sit back and observe, at least to begin with. Beware when I start to open up, you'll be hard pressed to shut me up! Also, you'll find I'm up for about anything. And I mean it! I love new experiences! I am an adventurer in every sense of the word. I love exploring, discovering, getting into trouble, and getting all sorts of messy.

PHILOSOPHY

We are the sum of our experiences. My goal is to never stop growing and stretching my limits.

We all have more in common than we think.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done tons of surfing, and now I hope to do tons of hosting because I finally have my own apartment with a couch! I'm also up for making connections with couchsurfers in my area. As many CSers that I've become friends with around the world and had to leave, maybe there are a few at home that I won't have to leave.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fantastic. Not one bad experience! I have never seen a site with so many good people. My travels would have NEVER been anything close to as good as they were without Couchsurfing. THANK YOU!!! This is a brilliant organization and I hope it never ends!

Music, Movies, and Books

yes, yes, and yes. I appreciate pretty much everything, but here are a few favorites. This by NO means constitutes a representative sample. I forget too much of what I remember liking...Movies:Fight Club, Matrix, Boondock Saints, Wanted, Equilibrium, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Slumdog Millionaire, Music:Enter the Haggis, Rise Against, Linkin Park, Fair to Midland, Yellowcard, Mae, Red Hot Cilipeppers, Guster, Incubus, Egypt Central, Panic! at the Disco, Fratellis, AnberlinBooks:His Dark Materials, Harry Potter, Fahrenheit 451, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Lord of the Rings,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Morocco without solid plans of where to stay, where to go, how to get there, nothing. I didn't know the city, the language, or the people. Dialing the number of a possible host and praying he'd pick up. I LOVE putting myself in those types of situations and seeing if I can get myself out of them if everything hits the fan...

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach me your language! Or give me sports tips! Or teach me how to cook a local favorite! I will learn just about anything!

I can teach you to snowboard, how to appreciate Contemporary Music, how to jump a fence, how to build a bonfire, how to pitch a tent, or how to talk yourself into doing something you really shouldn't.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Bahrain, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Morocco, Qatar, Singapore, Spain, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
