PHILOSOPHY

I am someone who believes in the innate goodness of people. Certainly, we could all learn a few things from one another, if only we would just get along and forget our differences...In the end, there is more in common between all Humanity, that what could eventually set us all apart.

Many times, we are too quick to judge others, just because we have no familiarity with them or lack understanding towards their reasons for acting one way or another. Thus begins prejudice, and prejudice leads to tension. What could have otherwise been a great opportunity of enrichment in our lives and broadening of our understanding of one another, ends up separating us. That's why I try to live my life learning everyday, hoping that I may become a little wiser, and trying to lead a peaceful existence among my peers; seeking understanding and acceptance.

In the end, we are all here on a journey, but none of us truly knows where it may take us. No matter how much we may plan, or try to set ourselves on a "right path", it is not up to us to decide how everything will ultimately turn out. Thus, I accept life as it comes and even if my plans don't always turn out as I would like, I accept their outcome, try to learn from it and will keep on trying again; for a heart without hope is a body without soul...
