About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Livin' true to my passion...until I start taking myself too seriously, then I just goof off
ABOUT ME
I love healthy food (non dogma diet), fresh air, clean water (not reverse osmosis, but pristine mountain/jungle water), happy people, vibrant ecosystems, camping music festivals, biking everywhere, living near the ocean or mountains (but preferably both),the energy and human/cultural diversity of the city, funny shit, anything active outdoors, and doing the right thing in the moment. Oh and UNconditional Love.
PHILOSOPHY
Strive to Thrive in Perfect Balance
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was blessed to be hosted several times while traveling abroad a couple of years ago, and even at home here in the US. I live in an intentional communal living space in LA now, and am trying to create an ability for us to start hosting here. I haven't been a abroad in two years so I need a regular influx of foreigners or I'm gonna go crazy!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been couchsurfing my whole life, hosting and surfing dozens of times since college! I've officially couchsurfed through CS in China, Philippines, Bali, Australia, and Seattle. All wonderful experiences.
I once couchsurfed with a guy I met on the plane to Brasil. My friend and I had no plans for stay during Carnival, and by the time we landed, he had invite us friend to stay with him and took us to the cool local street jams in the favela. Definitely a good story to share...with most
Interests
Anything that enhances my health and happiness. Even dessert and whiskey. but not at the same time. usually. unless it's free range, organic and fair trade, then hell yeah!

Music, Movies, and Books
Jam Bands, afrofunk, upbeat jazz/world/blues/bluegrass/whatever as long as it makes me dance shamelessly
lust started reading for pleasure a few of years ago: Atlas Shrugged,Ishmael, Life o Pi, Omnivores Dilemma, sick and Tired, Maktub
TEDtalks, Leadership Lessons from the Shirtless Dancing Guy, Life is beautiful, and Double Rainbow
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bought a moped in Jakarta and drove it to Bali. Kind of a modern "On the Road" adventure, that was the dumbest thing I've ever done. I'm lucky to be alive today. But I learned from it, so it's cool.
