We are 2 fun loving, adventurous spirits, who enjoy the simple things in life, and are constantly seeking new and exciting experiences. Both educated in the social sciences, we share a huge interest in people, their upbringing, their lifestyles, and their future goals/plans.

We want to appreciate one another(metaphor for people) by giving one another a chance. Small bits of change a little at a time through travel,such as this, will satisfy our souls for our lifetimes. Thanks for the opportunity Couch Surfing Project!

movies: amelie, ghandi, anchorman, run lola run, talledega nights:the ballad of ricky bobby, stranger than fiction,family guy:blue harvest. mostly just comedy and more comedy.
Music: Massive Attack, Pink Floyd, Radiohead,Bob Marley, ratatat, arcade fire, mirah, elliott smith, dirty projectors. Mostly just good sounding music.
Books: memoirs of ghandi, the works of c.s. lewis, the awakening, green eggs and ham, the bible, the cat in the hat, shutterbabe, the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime, the great gatsby, i like you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Alex: took a trip to Nicaragua to teach English and a trip to Mexico to build houses for a community.

Teach, Learn, Share

The findings(arcitecture,culture,spirituality,i.e.)on our planet can teach one through travel to appreciate life. A rolling stone gathers no moss, therefore we travel. Constant travel to new places teaches new ideas, philosopies and emotions. The human heart needs interaction for motion/amotivity. The two work hand in hand and travel leads the heart to the mind to conclude all things have purpose and are linked. Human life is the way to piece life's context together for all. Travel instigates the heart to ponder how to make sense of life's mysteries.Therfore we must travel.
