I LIVE IN NYC-

*** At my apt in NY about every couple weeks- the rest is work and travel***

I grew up in Utah in the Rocky Mountains. I travel alone for work sometimes and so when I get a chance to couchsurfing and stay with someone local I am so grateful! It is such a better way to experience a city- even if you are not with them - you still get some insight into another culture or place.

I do have a goal to get my father to do a couch surfing trip with me. I think that he would really like it. Also I think that my family would be great hosts!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed from LA to New York, the northern route- Mexico- Western Europe a few times, Costa rica, Cuba. Someday I will be in a position to host many more people, as of now I love when people I have stayed with, and met along the way, come visit me in NY! I have introduced couch surfing to many friends, and they have all had some great adventures!
I have hosted more people than I can count- for 2 years my apartment was a rotating door- between roommates friends and past couch surfers- now I am a bit more selective and really prefer to host people whom I have something in common with.

Intereses

Skiing, Sailing with friends in NY, Travel, learning to cook. Exploring second hand shops and Flea Markets

I started cycling- Cycled the Allegheny Gap Trail with my father last year.

Watched a volcano bubble and spirt as the lava flows glittered down the side of the island into the ocean below.

Also a total solar eclipse (I saw this on someone’s profile and realized that was one of my most amazing experiences as well!)
