About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live how you think, not by what you've been told
ABOUT ME
Reading a book, sit and watch the sunset, go jogging or jump on my bike and ride for hours, a long night in a pub with friends, lie down and watch the clouds ... . It can please me all!
What I most enjoy is being surprised, by thinks you'd never thought of yourself, by things you simply can't do yourself.
And this is why meeting new people, and having new experiences is what I must do!
In short, I like a good laugh, a smile, a good discussion, a funny joke and in general 'knowing you're in good hands'
PHILOSOPHY
Still trying to find out but always changing (and hoping it will never stop changing)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I haven't joined the local network (shame on me). So my participation is mainly restricted to my own travelling.
Several people I met on my holidays (CS and non-CS)came over to surf my couch, but my little village (Boechout) seems to far away from Antwerp or Brussels to attract other people. Sure public transport isn't the best (but not the worst either), and I sure am willing to play personal taxi to the Antwerp railway station (if possible off course)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Some summers ago I made a road trip trough Poland and the Baltics. And as an experience I tried CS for the first time. It couldn't have been better!! Such an easy way to meet people, finding places you never would come on your own and just to feel at home in strange places.
So ever since, I'm a passionate about CS!!
Interests
Being a geographer: the earth in all it's beauty
Hence photography, just as a hobby, is one of my favorites (looking at, and trying myself). I love landscapes but industrial sites or decayed houses just give me the creeps (in a positive way), as well as 'people in their environment'

Music, Movies, and Books
Almost any music can please me, but I'm rather fond of Faithless, Depeche Mode and Dido. When dancing is involved Ska and reggea come quite in handy, and on the 'electronic' side that would be Front 242 who easily can move my feet.
Since I'm not a daily reader my opinion on this isn't worth much, but I really enjoyed reading 'Sleep' from Annelies Verbeke and in general any Discworld Novel from Teryy Pratchet
