Overview
About Me
I'm fun and active person (except in the morning) and I like to spend most of my time with quality people rather than alone.. I smile and laugh a lot. I get inspired by children and those who have a child-like mind. I get easily excited about new things, which means that I can be very impulsive and adventurous. I feel constantly thirsty for experiences.
I'm 32 years, grow up in the Finnish Lapland and moved to the Netherlands for studies. I've recently graduated in International Development Studies from UvA and figuring out what to do next. In the meantime I have 2 part-time jobs and I'm establishing an NGO called Architects for Society on the side... and just enjoying this beautiful city (Amsterdam) I've called a home for over 6 years...
My professional background is from non-profit sector, most recently from Kabul in Afghanistan. Before my studies, I also worked at UNICEF Finland. On a professional level I am currently interested in grant writing and proposal development. On a personal level I am committed to learning how to better the circumstances of people in difficult life situations, especially children, who are vulnerable for reasons of poverty, deprivation, or politics.
