ABOUT ME

We're an austrian couple for nearly 5 years now. When we found each other we both lived in Salzburg and Valerie went to school there. Since october 2006 Valerie studies medicine in Innsbruck and Johannes had to stay in Salzburg, so we can only see each other on the weekends.
We are very communicative, friendly, hard working for our aims and sometimes a little bit crazy.
During the weeks we're studying a lot, so that we can have a free weekend, when Valerie comes home. In the weekends we meet our friends and family, spend our time together outside or just relax a little bit at home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We want to meet new people all around the world and have a quick look into different cultures.
Valerie is offering her couch in Innsbruck for surfing, but during the summer we are working and living in Salzburg.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2008 we have been to USA and couchsurfed on the eastcoast. Valerie also offers her couch in her shared flat and also had some nice and funny experiences eg. one of my guests got lost on a mountain and had to be rescued.
But in general we enjoy people who are kind and reasonable, interesting life stories and a nice evening is cool.

Interests

We like to play board games with friends or just go for some drinks, in the summer we go swimming and in the winter skiing (Jon) and snowboarding (Valerie). Valerie also likes to ride horses, but isn't able to do so much of it lately. She is very creative too and likes to decorate her flat and create new recipes. Johannes loves soccer. Once or twice a week he's playing soccer with his friends, but he is also a great soccer fan. Espacially the european champianships or the world champianships are big events for him. Johannes has also started to train for triathlon and had also finished a few.
