ABOUT ME

I am a NYC-based photographer that travels with great frequency. I also started something called SLIDELUCK POTSHOW in my backyard in Seattle eight years ago. It's basically a slideshow and a potluck dinner-- which means that everybody brings something to eat and something to drink and forty artists submit up to 5 minutes worth of slides.

We have been invited to bring this project all over the world. My business partner and I travel to all of the "launches" to help train teams of people on how to produce a SLIDELUCK POTSHOW. In the last few years, we have launched in about 35 cities globally, including: Madrid, London, Bogotá, São Paulo, Mexico, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Milan, Seville, Stockholm, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Berlin, Rome, Rio, Panama, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, Detroit, and Washington, DC.

As we are a small organization, with little funding, we are often forced to cover our travel costs by ourselves. This is a real challenge for us and we are constantly looking for alternatives to hotels. We prefer to stay with people because we are both pretty social and we feel like we get to know the place better through our hosts.
