My name is Eddie, I'm a graduate student in Geography at Oregon State University. I live in Corvallis, and have for the last 18 months or so. Prior to that I spent a while working and traveling around the country and the world, ending up in Korea, Cambodia, and Andorra, among other places.

I love the philosophy behind this website - I've hosted people all over the world, most popularly in Andorra (for a few months my roommate and I were the only hosts in the country!). The best experiences I have everywhere I go end up being with couchsurfing hosts; there's no substitute for meeting a like-minded, generous local willing to share his/her space and time with you.
