Getting to know the world rather as a local than a tourist!

ABOUT ME

I really enjoy learning about new countries, customs and cultures from ppl I meet wherever I might be. Travelling to new places contributes to this of course which makes it even better. I believe it is from the ppl themselves you really learn and not so much through books, guides and so on even though that of course can contribute.

I m currently back in Stockholm working to save money to b able to go abroad again in a not too distant future. I m also trying to finish my BA in Political Science while trying to figure out what to do w my life.. I m trying!

I realize that its soon time to enter "the real world" and get a real job. Won´t stop me from travelling and discovering since I m hoping for an interesting job in an interesting country somewhere on this globe.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is to short for regrets and everything happens for a reason.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´ve both surfed and hosted and I can recommend it both.

The hosting experience in the dorm, where I used to live, was cool since we were able to take several ppl in at the same time which made it even more multi-cultural.

Surfing myself is naturally also fantastic and I m always looking forward to my next trip meeting wonderful ppl and getting new experiences.

I also tell ppl about the CS project at any chance I get since I think it´s a great way to go to places and foremost meet ppl u might not have met otherwise!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had wonderful experiences with Couchsurfing so far and the more I do it the more I enjoy it. It´s a fantastic way to travel, meet new people from all over the world and to get to c the "local" things in the city u r in and not just the tourist once.
I really enjoy the possibilities CS gives u, both as a host and surfing, and u learn so much about culture and customs that no guide book in the world could give u!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Running naked across the Hringbraut bridge, one of the most run on roads in Rvk w a group of ppl from all over the world. Completely senseless and wonderfully liberating!
