About Me

Currently travelling for 6 months through the States visiting Bakeries/Mills/Farms and hoping to meet lots of inspiring people working in the food movement, hone my baking skills and get my hands in the soil! I just finished an epic job working as a Baker/Teacher at e5 Bakehouse in Hackney, London. The Bakery stone mills UK grown wheats, sourced direct from a few local farms and is at the forefront of the UK sourdough bakery scene pushing to make delicious properly fermented bread mindful all the way from from the soil to the eating.
I have an allotment in Bristol, my home in the UK, so spend much of my spare time down there growing and hanging out with friends. I love cooking, eating good food and bringing people together round the table. My most valued possession would be my bicycle. Negatives; I'm ridiculously competitive at badminton.
A couple of years ago in Bristol I took a year long Permaculture course called Shift Bristol which opened my eyes to more alternative ways of living in connection with the land and each other. My dream is to co-create a woodland bakery community back home, until then I am skilling up and taking in inspiration as much as I can.
Friends describe me as warm, kind and generous. I will happily dance all night or have a quiet one. Keen to meet new people and explore this beautiful world.
I'm easy going and can entertain myself, looking for a friendly clean place to rest my head! Look forward to meeting you!
