ABOUT ME

I'm a open minded person who loves to get to know new places and people in the world. So do I (or at least trying so) speak quite some languages and I want to get in to several more, for example more "exotic" languages like Arabic.
The most important thing for me is to be independent. I also have many different interests; I love company but I also enjoy the freedom of traveling alone, I love cities and their action, but I couldn't be without any wide, open spaced nature, I love comfort, but have no problem to live in a tent without any luxury for weeks.
I'm really communicative (thanks to this feature I spent several school lesson in detention or in front of the door).
I'm a "doing" person, I can't stand weekend nights in front of the TV, I have to get out, go dancing, have fun. If I go to the beach (which is very special for me, because in Switzerland we don't have any) I want to swim, play beach volleyball, go scuba diving, anything but laying in the sun all day long...

I couchsurfed for the first time in July 2008 in San Francisco and I just loved it. I think it's a great opportunity to get to know locals and other travelers.
Now I am home in Switzerland and happy to host. Please read my profile carefully, I only reply to personal requests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did many things, which seemed crazy in the moment I've done them, but in retrospective they're more or less normal. I guess the crazyness is a mixture of feeling, the persons your with, the time, the age, the experience of life, whatever.
