About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Looking for nice people to hang out with in Montenegro, Albania and Macedonia and get to know the culture.

ABOUT ME
I have been fascinated for a long time with travelling, meeting people from countries all around the world... and learning new languages. Most of my adult life I spent abroad at some corners of the world, mostly in the UK, Spain, Brazil, Canada, France and Singapore. I moved to China and taught English in a university. It was a relaxed life where I enjoyed the lectures and events with the students a lot. Most recently I moved to Berlin where I teach German and English and regularly enjoy hanging out with fellow CS people...

PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live... and then totally live!

The second mouse get's the cheese...

Live for the moment... unless the moment sucks ;-)

Give some good spirit and motivation to your friends and people you meet as often as you can...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met brilliant people in Quebec city and spend great night outs with them and their Couchsurfers...in Brazil I hooked up with awesome fellas and didn't wanna leave...
In Latvia I met a person who changed my life a bit... that of a close friend a bit more...
Also in Spain I had a great stay in Alicante...
Hung out at Antonio's, a great Italian in Beijing and had awesome party nights. The Brioche was kick ass.
Stayed in Korea at John's which was unique... really wanna get back to Seoul now!!
Hosted Harald and went out here in Swansea... fun times!
Hosted Lucie here in Swansea... met my friends, walked down at the beach, saw a bit of the city of Swansea... nice days.
Stayed at Yakyak's in Northern Ireland which was a really great experience!!
Stayed at Dev's and became part of an impressive expat life community in Dakar for a few days.
Met with Vitor and Antonio in Funchal and had a couple of awesome days with good fun, great food and local drinks under the sun of Madeira.
Hosted Nancy in Swansea which was a great time, like a holiday at home :-)
Hosted Anne and Vincent, a French couple who lived in Egypt, and explored a bit of Swansea with them. Good times!
Stayed at Enrico's and Fileo's in Cagliari, Sardinia, met their friends and had a really good time.
In Istanbul, I met with Steve, Sanran and Anna and enjoyed a lot to stay at their place. Two times. Then I went to Georgia and met Myriam, the French angel :-)
Here in Singapore I am happy to be part of a vibrant CS community with great meeting every few days and interesting locals and expats from all over the world.
The next great couchsurfing experience was between two rental contracts where I had a good times at Jasper's and his flatmates for a few days.
In November 2012, I hosted Ada and her flatmate in Zhuhai, China, and was amazed about the great video of a guy hitch-hiking from Beijing to Berlin!
Most recently I hosted Nann, also in Zhuhai, a friendly young Chinese student on his way to Thailand. It was nice to share some beers and some travel stories...
Well, and then I went to Lithuania and met Egle... who took the time to show me and my friend around. It was very nice to spend the afternoon and evening together. She made our trip so much nicer :-)!
In Berlin I met Pablo who regularly organises CS meetings in different parts of the city.

Interests

Meet fellow travellers and those who are interested in foreign culture and other languages, going out, most recently more bars than night clubs, and finding a way of living healthier whilst keeping the level of impressions and exciting days and nights...
