About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To best utilize the opportunity of being alive!
ABOUT ME
Horses and dancing and laughing. Working with horses is a rare profession, but my hopes are to share the science of working with horses with others. I am openhearted and intelligent and love to meet new people (which is a phrase that is inclusive of people I've already met).
PHILOSOPHY
Dig and be dug in return! I like to use my eyes to see good. I like to be glad and thank you to earth for spinning. I like to participate with others in a genderless and egoless way- we are all transient expressions of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I travelled around the world for one year, so my participation in this community involved being a grateful recipient of the hospitality of those who are welcoming others into their homes.
I have met some of my best friends at Couchsurfing community gatherings.
Now I am living in Chile, and would LOVE to host travelers there! You can see my profile: EMILIECHILE
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great times. Almost always rural, which adds a different flavor to the new friendship one makes. Instead of going out dancing or to a bar, I have gone with hosts on hikes- my favorites being once to a natural Icelandic hot spring at 1am, and going on a 3 hour community walk through muddy farmyards and ending in an accordion band folk dance.
Interests
Reading, writing, becoming a member of other cultural societies, HORSES, contra dancing and dancing in general. Joy.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently love Mexican Rancheras.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Using a loving approach, I peacefully and successfully saddled and rode a young horse who had vehemently rejected human contact with his whole spirit.
I've seen many smiles.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to hear ideas on negotiating the experience of being present to right now with having goals.
Recently I listened to an 11 year old boy speaking, and he taught me that we have so much diversity to offer with the shapes and muscles on our faces-- we all mirror each other when we talk, which isn't necessarily a negative thing, but how exciting to have more art with our daily communication.
