About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Always look on the bright side of life …:)
ABOUT ME
I am an open minded girl, who always sees positive side of everything. 1,5 year ago I moved to Barcelona. Living in Spain is still an adventure for me – I’m getting now a new culture (even 2: Spanish and Catalan), discovering city, meeting new people learning about cultural differences…
I studied International Relations in Lodz and currently work for consulting company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'll be happy to show people around, meet up for a coffee or a glass of wine. Always ready for spontaneous trips around!I can help you to find a cheap hostel in Barcelona or a coach of other surfer.
Currently, I do not have any coach available in Barcelona :/, but someday I will have my own little flat and then... :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am participating regally in Coach Surfing events in Barcelona (language exchange and meetings). I think that it is the great way to meet people when you just moved to a new place. I discovered that with Coach Surfing you never feel lonely, no meter which side of world you are now!
Interests
I discovered Coach Surfing when I moved to Barcelona – I participated in various events (language exchange, meetings, picnics…). This is the great way to meet people when you just moved to a new place. I also showed around a few travellers in Barcelona. More or less a year ago I try to surf also in Lisbon and it was GREAT. Since then in all of my trips I always spend some time with couch surfing community –this way you never feel lonely, no meter which side of world you are now!

Music, Movies, and Books
I read everything I meet on my way. I love books of Eduardo Mendoza, M.V. Llosa (La ciudad y los perros is amazing!!), Jane Austen, Emily Jane Brontë, Leo Tolstoy, Joanne Rowling, Larsson Stieg… so you can see that it is a mixture of everything :)
I am more keen on series. Recently, I discover the website with episodes with Spanish dubbing (I am still improving my Spanish), so I do not have any remorse spending 2 hours with Desperate house wives, Sex and the city or Dr. House if I treat it like a language classes, no? ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving to Barcelona (and survived) without a job, flat, family, friends. Just like this :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be happy to tell you about Barcelona and Catalunya and share with you my experiences after moving here. If you are interests, I can tell you about differences between living in north-eastern and south-western part of Europe :).
I would really like to hear how looks like life in different countries. It would be great if you could teach me traditional cooking from your region
