ABOUT ME

Well, people often describe me as open-hearted, cheerful and talkative... And it's true, I love socializing with people all over the world! It usually takes a lot to get me down - because the sun is always shining behind the clouds :)

Even though I am originally from Germany, I have lived in several different places, mainly because I did my bachelors degree in the USA. After that, I did my masters degree in Berlin, where I'm also currently teaching German As A Foreign Language at a public school. In 2016, I was teaching German at the University of Namibia and I fell in love with the country and the people there - maybe I will move there one day for good :)

PHILOSOPHY

I also love to travel, to make new friends, to enjoy the little things in life, and to simply try to make this world a better place - and I think we can all work on it :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I am moving back and forth between Germany and the U.S. for a couple more years, I am unfortunately not able to offer a couch to anyone at the moment. However, you should contact me if you're in the area and see if I'm around so we can go out for coffee or something! This way, and by traveling myself, I hope to meet lots of new people around the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have no personal experience with CouchSurfing yet. But I only heard good things about it from other people! And I am eager to collect my own memories and experiences with this great network in the upcoming months and years...

I'm very flexible when it comes to music. It depends on my mood but I listen to almost everything. But I love Punk Rock, Christian Rock, and Techno/House!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

A couple of years ago, my sister's cat brought a little bunny home. We started nursing it back to health... and to me it is fascinating to feel its little heart beating, to see it hide in my hands...

I have to admit, I am really moved by the little things in life. In my eyes, it's amazing how we seem to be able to make a difference in this world... however small it may appear to be.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Well, I am a freelance ballroom dance teacher. I've been leading a Ballroom Dance Club at my college in the States for several years. I love teaching Latin, Smooth and Swing Dance - so if you're interested, let me know :)
