About Me
CURRENT MISSION
One word: explore!
ABOUT ME
I'm a friendly, outgoing college student. I am always up for meeting new people and trying new things; I like to think that I have a healthy sense of adventure. What I love most about living in New York is that there is always something to do, always someone to do it with, and no limit to the amount of diversity you can find (culturally, racially, hobbies, personalities, events, you name it). Above all I am very agreeable, nothing is too mundane nor too zany. Try me!
PHILOSOPHY
You should meet me, I'm probably not all that good at describing myself. I am, however, a bit disgruntled to admit that lately I have been noticing more and more similarities between myself and your typical Manhattanite with a capital N.Y. Yes, I have a nose ring, I have a lip ring, I wear my Risky Business sunglasses to no end, I'm vegan, and I'm a poli-sci/envionmental studies major who shops at Whole Foods and eats her lunches in the park with book in hand. My saving grace, and what I'm hoping sets me apart the most, is my bubbly personality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new-ish to CouchSurfing.com (I've had an account for a while but I haven't been active). I do plan on going to some of the local gatherings so I can meet some fellow couch surfers soon. And, of course, fellow couch surfers are more than welcome to surf my couch any time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had any CouchSurfing experiences through this website yet but I have definitely met some wonderful people through other similar adventures. I've stayed in both Switzerland and Scotland with host families as well as with a few "friends of friends" in the States. It's amazing how something so arbitrary can bring complete strangers together on such a personal level.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've scuba dived off a few of the Caribbean Islands; it's such a breathtaking experience! Sea turtles are my favorite animal so maybe I'm biased, but there is nothing in the world like it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Haha, this feels a little bit like a graduated version of show-and-tell. I have a penchant for obscure facts and other obscure things. I don't know if I can put something specific here, it really depends on what's relevant at the time. If you see something in my interests that piques your own, strike up a conversation and we'll take it from there!
