ABOUT ME

I am an easy going and hospitable guy. I can have deep philosofical conversations or just talk nonsense bullshit and have a laugh. I study psychobiology here in Amsterdam. I like to chill out with friends and have a drink or a smoke.
I don't go out too often because its pretty expensive, but I do know the more alternative places with better prices and alternative music.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined the site about a year ago and have hosted some people here in Amsterdam, and have had some real good times with surfers. I only went surfing others couches twice, but willing to do so more in the future. Its a great way to travel.

Interests

My passion is music, making it and listening and discovering new bands.
Besides I love movies (ranging from the normal hollywood movies to classic arty movies to asian movies) and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

I most like swinging and grooving rock music and heavy stoner rock: Jimi Hendrix,Colour Haze,Kyuss,Electric Wizard,Iggy & the Stooges,the Doors,Brant Bjork. But besides that I also listen to some oldschool hiphip and I really like good drum 'n' bass.

Some good books I've read are Brave New World, Doors of Perception, 1984, Wonderland avenue, Zen and the art of motorcycle maintainance, Hell's Angels, Siddhartha.

Some of my favourite movies are Easy Rider, Into the Wild, Fear and Loathing, Apocalypse Now, the Snatch, Lock Stock, Boondock Saints, Planet Terror, Mulholland Drive, Clockwork Orange, Spirited Away and the old Star Wars trilogy.
