I am good listener, a bit of a daydreamer and always open to new experiences. I like to be active and love a good laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

That' s a big question! I believe in honesty (even when it is not that easy), but besides from this, I guess I try not to follow a certain philosophy, but allow myself to improvise.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I try to host people as often as I can and look forward to couchsurf myself on my future travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, The United States, Venezuela, The Dominican Republic, France, Spain, Portugal and Iceland where I also met other couchsurfers, and back home I have hosted and met several people. It has always been a pleasure!

兴趣

Human nature, literature, music, sports (the more, the better - at the moment I am into triathlon), languages, art, nature, baking, meeting people...most things turn out to be interesting if only you try to figure out what it is all about. In short, I keep myself busy and I am pretty easy to entertain!

音乐、电影和书籍

When I talk about books, I talk about literature; novels, poetry, short stories, etc. I have studied and now teach literature and it is impossible for me to point out only a few books. At the moment I, unfortunately, only have the time to read the literature I teach, which is mainly Danish, but I hope to find the time soon to finally read "Dr. Faustus" by Thomas Mann, "Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften" by Robert Musil and the entire Quijote of course. Oh yes, there are also still several novels by Salman Rushdie which I have not read, stories by Kafka and Borges to catch up with, just like I definately have to read more from the Danish authors Karen Blixen and Søren Kierkegaard.

I also watch very different movies, but I mostly enjoy european productions or films from places far away, the Middle East, Latin America, China and - of course - Bollywood. Since I often end up doing sports in the evening, I never get to see all the films I want to see, but you cannot get it all, I suppose.

Listening to music and going to concerts is a big passion of mine. Again it is difficult to point out specific names, as I listen to very different kinds of music and live to be introduced to something new.

Teaching Danish and Spanish is my job and I have also been teaching volleyball for several years. Besides from this I can teach you more basic things like how to make bread or ride a bicycle (in case you shouldn't know...). In return I would like to learn how to fix my bikes when they break! Well, actually there are so many things I would like to learn: Swim butterfly, dance, speak more languages, cook different kinds of food, make time go slower, be more daring when I ride my mountain bike, control my temper when I get too hungry, etc.
