ABOUT ME

puhhhh again such a heavy task. I'm a native Taiwanese. Try to get away this small island from time to time. Mostly, I pay visits to friends/ raletives who lives abroad or take well-packaged tours, which means no worry about the itineraries, traffics, accomaditions, or the languange problems. But I guess, at some points of our lives, we might want to make some changes, which includs the way we see about traveling.

I hope it's not just about escaping from our stressed work. It's about being able to meet new friends, experice new cultures, talk to people who are different from our backgrounds, listen to, I mean really listen to, people whom we might not have a chance to see them again. To see how these things/ people can shape/make our lives.

PHILOSOPHY

We can't run from our pasts,we can't run from ourselves. When we'd like to figure out what life is, just search our hearts.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just new here but planning to:
1. host travellers
2. people who want to know my city better, I'll try my best to show them the best of Taipei
3. simply to give info how to get round this city
4. deliver useful info. from some CS group in other countries, to make Taipei/Taiwan's stronger

Love to read, watch films, do yoga, go hiking, traveling and have coffee with friends. These things will light up my days...BTW,did I mention I'd love to enlarge my world with wonderful friends..esp. CS friends :-)

My favorite films are Pedro Almodovar's (esp. Talk to her)and Woody Allen's. Besides that, top of my lists: Trainspotting, Sideways, Before Sunset, Angry Monk, Paris, je t'aime, The Burmese Harp,Home...can't list them all!

Music: Horray for JSB's masterpieces. Also I used to listen to Torri Amos' songs.

Books: most into literatures and philosiphies

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'm quite living a simple, plain life. Never try things crazy. Maybe the amazing thing is that I found out this website, and realized so many people are willing to offer their couches for whom I might call "strangers". Now, I'm glad I'm part of this community, and certaintly my couch is ready for needing people.

love to learn diffrent kind of massages. Learnt deep tissue, aroma therapy, foot massage in different countries. Now, can teach, no practise though.
