I like plants, and I'm fine with how cliche that sounds.
I've been living in Philly for 4 years but will be moving in June to Northampton, MA.
My partner, Sandi, and I love Philly but it's not a great place to go foraging for wild mushrooms. We need the deep woods. So we're packing up and heading to live near mountains. We're both gardeners by trade, with lots of cooking under our belts as well as botany, foraging and a deep curiosity for learning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a lovely way to return a favor. To take in the weary and brave.

I'll teach you about plants be them veggies or herbs or wildflowers, pauses, freckles, and how to cook for anyone.
Sandi will teach you about coffee, knife making, leather work, plant identification, primitive pursuits, and general science-ing methods.
