About Me

CURRENT MISSION

making friends making art making food

ABOUT ME

i like to do new things, i like to meet people. i like to travel. i thoroughly enjoy drinking and making situations, often times i lack a filter. i was born and raised in iowa along the mississippi, decorating cakes with my mom and flying big kites with my dad. i lived there until i was seventeen, when i moved away for school. i majored in sculpture at the kansas city art institute and like making anything useful. mainly tables and dishes. after graduating in may 2010 i moved to homer, alaska for my second summer and ended up staying... so here i am! i like kayaking, hiking, camping, and i'm learning to fish (properly). in the winter i cross country ski and try to snowboard. currently i work for a small bear viewing outfit that flies cessna 206's into katmai national park where we land and chase brown bears around. best job perks ever.

PHILOSOPHY

what i do today i have to sleep with tonight.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
