About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life trying to help people in need as well and get to know as much as possible of this planet!
ABOUT ME
We are an Italian couple who's been living in Ecuador for the past 4 years after traveling a lot.
We just bought a nice plot of land in Tumbaco, half an hour from town and we are working on building a cob house, so you are very welcome to come and stay a few days if you would like to learn how and would love to help!
We have a two years old son, a cat and a dog.
We spent 2007 traveling through Brazil (mainly the Amazonian part!), then SE Asia, and then we made a trip to Senegal and Mali.
What we love about Ecuador is the nature, and indigenous cultures and the relationship they have with nature.
On January 2012 we start to build our cob house, we need help!! COME AND BUILD WITH US!
PHILOSOPHY
At the moment: Build green! Trying to make the world a better place, especially for women; enjoy friendship as much as possible; love people; act to change the world; "always look at the bright side of life" (and people).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We talk to people about how amazing is to couchsurf and to be a host, and how this is really anticapitalist: it's about trust, sharing and getting to know lovely people!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We traveled around Brazil with CS and HC and we met lots of amazing people!!! In 2006, while living in Quito, we gave hospitality to 10-15 people. Moreover for years we traveled staying at friends of friends' houses, and hosting at our place friends of friends, so we met lots of people from many parts of the world.
We had lots of people staying with us and enjoyed it a lot, despite some of them never washing dishes!!!
Interests
Main goal at the moment: building a sustainable, ecological cob hose!!! Then: parenting, cooking, travelling, politics, books, ecology and enviromental protection, visiting forests, Amazonian people and traditions, spirituality.
