ABOUT ME

I spent the first 18 years of my life in Exeter, NH about an hour north of Boston. Pretty good little spot but not close enough to the mountains for me. Spent most of my time there working, washing dishes, delivering pizzas, and driving a zamboni. After that I moved up to burlington to go to college. I got a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Vermont in what seemed like the shortest four years of my life. I pretty much spent that entire four years making beer in my apartment and when I finished my degree I found out that someone could actually make a living making beer. So off to brew school I went in Middlebury, VT. This was one of the best experiences of my life and upon the completion of an apprenticeship at Otter Creek/Wolavers I headed west like Horatio Alger Jr. to Salt Lake City. After about 4 years in SLC is was time for a change of pace on many fronts so again, headed up to the PNW to brew at 10 Barrel Brewing Company. Great Beer, Great People, and a Great Town

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to make my house available to anyone that needs or wants it. Haven't had much surfing experience, mostly hosting but soon enough.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had nothing but good experiences with couchsurfing, Everyone that has ever come and surfed at my house I think knows that they will always have a place to stay where ever I am at.
Generally have atleast a bite to eat and great conversation over some beers and maybe even a trip to the brewery...

I love beer. From making it, tasting it, educating people about it. I love to sit down with anyone and analyze a beer that one or neither of us has ever had.
