About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living in Ethiopia last year I've had the opportunity to host a crazy amount of people in my home. Sharing this place with them, introducing them to the people and the culture I've grown to love, has been such a wonderful experience that should continue!

ABOUT ME

I love to dance and have meaningful interactions with people. I'm on the shy side but love to meet new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Live simply to love. It's as simple and as complicated as that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new so I'm just learning, but I hope to have more meaningful experiences when I visit new places and I hope to provide a more meaningful experience when others visit Seattle!

Music, Movies, and Books

Sheesh--A lot. Music I won't get into because I truly like most of it (except "screamo"-ha!) I don't usually like watching movies more than once, especially because I rarely have time to watch movies, but I love to read! Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia are favorites, and then mostly just good fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well a few weeks ago I fed a hyena with my mouth. Can't say that's something most people have done! A bit crazy, but it's an interesting story!

Teach, Learn, Share

To say hello in Ethiopia you say: Selam!
To say thank you you say: Amesegenalo! (hard "g")
If you'd like to know anything about Ethiopian culture or society, I'm excited to share about my experience living there this past year!

There are so many things I want to learn...To paint well, to salsa dance and/or swing dance...To cook!
