I 'gave up' my old life in 2011 to travel the world and still loving every minute of it, now together with my wife. Working occasionally in remote countries in the best parts of the world; the underwater world :)

I used to work in specialised beer bars so love a good drink but can also appreciate a nice cup of tea. Quality is more important than quantity.
I like photography so don't be surprised to see me fiddling with a camera but unfortunately that doesn't mean the pictures are as good as I hoped for ;)

I enjoy the company of nice, open minded people but as I work a lot I also enjoy the tranquility of the environment by myself.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

My wife and me like to see things off the beaten track. We find that the most interesting people, the kindest people and the ones with the good stories are normally not the ones on the main street but to be found off the beaten track. That is why we like Couchsurfing. This is where we meet those people with same values, interests and who know the best places to go.
